With the recent expansion of the BRICS (a group initially formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and global geopolitical transformations, discussions on multipolarity and the search for a new economic architecture are gaining traction. The 2024 BRICS+ summit in Kazan, Russia, was marked by the establishment of the category of partner members and the creation of economic integration mechanisms, such as BRICS Clear, which reinforce the importance of a multilateral dialogue to rebalance international relations and face the challenges posed by the current global system.
